Law enforcement in Eritrea
Eritrea's law enforcement is run by two main groups: the National Police and Security Forces, led by Brigadier General Simon Ghebredengel, and the Eritrean Police Force, led by Colonel Beraki Mehary Tsegai. The INTERPOL National Central Bureau is in Asmara, headed by Abraham Debesai. According to INTERPOL, the main security issues are human trafficking, terrorism, and maritime piracy.
