Skirgailė Žalimienė (born 1972 in Vilnius) is a Lithuanian judge and law professor who has been the President of the Supreme Administrative Court of Lithuania since 26 July 2022. She previously served as the court’s Vice President from 2019 to 2022 and has been a leading figure in Lithuania’s judiciary. She is also a professor at Vilnius University, where she is known as a legal researcher and Europeanist.

Education and career: Žalimienė studied law at Vilnius University from 1991 to 1996 and earned a lawyer’s qualification. Since February 1998 she has worked at the university, progressing from assistant to lecturer (2002), then associate professor (2002), and now professor. In 2008 she was a candidate for judge of the Supreme Court, and in August 2008 she was appointed as a judge of the Supreme Administrative Court by President Valdas Adamkus. She served as Deputy President of the court from 2019 to 2022 and has been President since July 2022.

Judicial Council roles: She is a member of the Judicial Council of Lithuania (since 28 November 2022) and has served as Secretary of the Judicial Council since 29 April 2022.

Personal: Žalimienė was married to Dainius Žalimas (divorced in 2016). She studied at Vilnius University and continues to teach there.
