Sir or Madam (German: Ossi hat die Hosen an) is a 1928 British-German silent comedy film directed by Carl Boese. It stars Margot Armand, Percy Marmont and Ossi Oswalda and is based on the 1923 novel Sir or Madame by Berta Ruck.

The story follows a woman who disguises herself as a man and becomes a gentleman’s valet, then must resist the advances of his vampish fiancée. The film was shot at Elstree Studios near London and released in two country-specific versions, with English intertitles in Britain and German intertitles in Germany. It premiered in Germany in 1928 and reached the UK in February 1930.

Produced by Foremost Productions and Carl Boese-Film, the movie was distributed by Warner Brothers in the UK and National Film in Germany. The cast includes Margot Armand, Percy Marmont, Ossi Oswalda and Annette Benson.
