Scholten, Missouri
Scholten is a small, unincorporated community in northeast Barry County, Missouri. It sits about 16 miles northeast of Cassville, on Missouri Route D, one mile north of Wheelerville and Route 248. The elevation is 1,378 feet (420 meters). A post office named Scholten operated from 1886 to 1919. The community was named after the local Scholten family. Coordinates: 36°30′21″N 93°22′30″W.
