Silno is a village in north-central Poland. It is in Gmina Obrowo, Toruń County, Kuyavian-Pomeranian Voivodeship, and sits on the Vistula River in the historic Dobrzyń Land.

Population: about 3,500 people.

Time zone: CET (UTC+1) and CEST (UTC+2) in summer.

Transport: Voivodeship roads 258 and 654 go through Silno. The A1 motorway and S10 expressway are nearby to the west and north.

History: During World War II, under German occupation, Silno was one of the places where Polish people were executed as part of the Intelligenzaktion in 1939.
