Sidi language
Sidi is a Bantu language spoken by the Sidi people in Pakistan and India (Sindh and Gujarat). It is related to Swahili. Today, most Sidi people speak the regional Indian language Gujarati, with some Bantu words mixed in. The exact number of current speakers is not known. The language was still spoken in the 1960s in Jambur, a village in Kathiawar, Gujarat. A 2016 Gujarat government survey found that Sidi is endangered and at risk of disappearing.
