Shoichi Yanagimoto

Shoichi Yanagimoto (born June 5, 1951) is a Japanese former volleyball player and coach. He was a setter who played for Teijin Mihara, Nippon Steel, and Nissin Steel, and he was on the Japan national team. He competed in the men’s volleyball tournament at the 1976 Olympics and retired from playing in 1991. After his playing career, he worked as a coach for several teams, including the Thailand men’s national team, Nissin Steel, Toyobo Orchids, and the Japan women’s national volleyball team.
