Tanya Tucker albums discography
Tanya Tucker’s album catalog includes 26 studio albums, 3 live albums, 30 compilation albums, 9 video albums, and 1 box set. She started recording at a very young age, releasing Delta Dawn (1972) with Columbia when she was 13; it reached #32 on the Billboard Top Country Albums chart. The follow-up albums What’s Your Mama’s Name and Would You Lay with Me (In a Field of Stone) were both certified gold by the RIAA.
In 1975, Tucker moved to MCA Records and released a self-titled album that year, peaking at #8 on the Top Country Albums chart and #113 on the Billboard 200. From 1976 to 1977 she issued four more studio albums, and in 1978 TNT aimed at a rock audience and was certified gold. After a period with less commercial success, she staged a comeback on Capitol Records with Girls Like Me (1986), which reached #20 on the Top Country Albums chart and yielded four top-10 hits on the Billboard country chart.
The late 1980s brought more success with Love Me Like You Used To (1987) and Strong Enough to Bend (1988), followed by a Greatest Hits compilation (1989). What Do I Do with Me (1991) became her first platinum album in the United States and also earned gold in Canada. In 1992, Can’t Run from Yourself reached #12 on the Top Country Albums chart and #51 on the Billboard 200 and was certified platinum in the U.S.
Tucker released three more studio albums in the 1990s, then issued Tanya in 2002 on her own Tuckertime label. In 2009 she released My Turn, featuring covers of classic country songs. After a decade away from the studio, she returned in 2019 with While I’m Livin’, produced by Brandi Carlile and Shooter Jennings.
