Abdullah Khalifa Al Marri
Abdullah Khalifa Al Marri (Arabic: عبدالله خليفة عبيد المري; born 14 August 1965) is a senior Emirati police officer who serves as the Commander-in-Chief of the Dubai Police Force. He has led the Dubai Police since 1 March 2017 and is a member of the Executive Council of the Government of Dubai.
Al Marri earned a bachelor’s degree in sociology from United Arab Emirates University in 1991. He joined the Dubai Police in 1992, the same year earning a diploma in Police Science from the Dubai Police Academy. He led the VIP Security Department in 2004 and became the deputy director of the Protective Security and Emergency Department in 2014. On 1 March 2017, while a Major General, he became the 7th Commander-in-Chief of the Dubai Police. In March 2020, he was promoted to Lieutenant General.
