Sherlyn Chopra is an Indian actress and model known for her work in Hindi and Telugu films. Born on February 11, 1987 in Hyderabad, she started her career after winning Miss Andhra in 1999. She made her film debut in 2007 with Red Swastik and has appeared in movies such as Time Pass, Game, and A Film by Aravind opposite Richard Rishi. In July 2012, she became the first Indian to pose for Playboy in the United States, which brought her international attention. She later hosted MTV Splitsvilla (season 6) and was a contestant on Bigg Boss in 2009. In December 2013 she released the music single “Bad Girl.” Chopra also played a double role in the costume drama Paurashpur. She studied at Stanley Girls High School in Secunderabad and Saint Ann’s College for Women. Her family includes a sister who works as an emcee and a brother in New Zealand who is a software engineer. Chopra has spoken about the MeToo movement in India, saying that every voice should be heard and properly investigated.
