Shawn Lutz
Shawn Lutz (born around 1973) is an American college football coach and the head coach at Slippery Rock University, a position he has held since 2016. He spent 20 seasons at Slippery Rock as an assistant coach in various roles before becoming head coach. He played college football as a tight end at West Virginia University from 1992 to 1995.
Lutz is from Massillon, Ohio. He earned a degree from West Virginia in 1996 and later a degree from Slippery Rock University in 2003.
As head coach, Lutz has an overall record of 83–21 and a playoff record of 10–6. His teams won the PSAC championship in 2019 and the PSAC West Division titles in 2018–2019 and 2021–2023.
