"Shake It Up" is a 1983 fast, energetic dance song by American artist Divine. It was released as a single from the album The Story So Far and later included on the 1984 compilation The Story So Far. The track was written and produced by Bobby Orlando, lasts 3:11, and was issued by Break Records. It was Divine's fourth and last charting single in the Netherlands, debuting at number 30 and peaking at number 13 in its third week, staying on the chart for six weeks. In Germany it peaked at number 26 for one week and spent 11 weeks on the chart, becoming Divine's second top-40 hit there.
