Big Yellow Group
Big Yellow Group plc is the United Kingdom’s largest self-storage company. Based in Bagshot, England, it is listed on the London Stock Exchange and is part of the FTSE 250. Founded in 1998, it has operated under several names, including Store Stuff Limited and The Big Yellow Holding Company Limited. It runs about 104 storage sites in the UK, including 19 Armadillo Self Storage sites, and employs around 459 people. In 2007 it became a real estate investment trust (REIT) and later partnered with Pramerica Real Estate Investors to add about 25 more stores in the Midlands, the North and Scotland. The chairman is Nicholas Vetch and the CEO is James Gibson. In 2025, revenue was £204.5 million, operating income £215.0 million and net income £201.9 million. Website: bigyellow.co.uk
