Shō Tetsu
Shō Tetsu (尚哲; 31 May 1759 – 19 September 1788) was the Crown Prince of the Ryūkyū Kingdom. He was the eldest son of King Shō Boku and was born in Shuri. As the heir to the throne, he traveled to Southern Kyushu during his youth. He died in Shuri in 1788 at age 29 before he could become king, and he was buried in Tamaudun, the royal mausoleum.
