Sekai wa Kitto Mirai no Naka is the 29th single by Zard, released on June 16, 1999, through B-Gram Records. It comes from the album Toki no Tsubasa. The title means "The world is certainly in the future." Like the earlier singles Atarashii Door and Good Day, this single does not include an alternate song. The track is a 1990s rock/pop rock song written by Izumi Sakai and produced by Daiko Nagato.

The single debuted at number 2 on the Oricon chart in its first week, charted for nine weeks, and sold over 201,000 copies. It marked Zard’s 24th consecutive top-three single since Makenaide. All songs on the single were written by Izumi Sakai. In the discography, it follows Mind Games (1999) and precedes Itai Kurai Kimi ga Afureteiru yo (1999).
