Fragneto l'Abate
Fragneto l'Abate is a small municipality in the Campania region of southern Italy, in the Province of Benevento. It lies about 70 km northeast of Naples and 15 km north of Benevento. The town covers 20.57 square kilometers and sits at 501 meters above sea level. As of January 1, 2020, it had 1,006 residents, who are called Fragnetellesi. The mayor is Lucio Mucciacciaro. In Campanian, the town is also known as Frannitiélle, and locally as Fràgnitièllo. Fragneto l'Abate borders Campolattaro, Circello, Fragneto Monforte, Pesco Sannita, and Reino. The patron saint is Anthony of Padua, celebrated on June 13. The postal code is 82020 and the telephone area code is 0824. The ISTAT code is 062033. There is an official website.
