Seaside cinclodes

Content sourced from Wikipedia, licensed under CC BY-SA 3.0.

Seaside cinclodes is the common name for two different bird species. Both are small shorebirds that live along coastal areas, especially near rocks and tidal zones. They look and behave similarly, but each species is separate and has its own range and song. They mainly eat small invertebrates such as insects and other tiny creatures found on the shore. You can tell them apart best by their scientific names and where you find them.
