Sean Grandillo
Sean Grandillo (born December 9, 1992) is an American actor, singer and musician from Ohio. He was born in Cleveland and grew up in Aurora, where he attended Leighton Elementary and Aurora High School. He studied musical theatre at Ithaca College but left to join Spring Awakening in Los Angeles.
In 2014 he auditioned for Deaf West Theatre’s Spring Awakening, moved to Los Angeles to star in the musical, and stayed with the show as it moved to Broadway. He played the Voice of Otto and bass in the band, while Miles Barbee performed Otto in sign language.
Grandillo has appeared on TV and in film. He played Eli Hudson in MTV’s Scream, Brett Young in ABC’s The Real O’Neals, and had guest roles on Secrets and Lies and Law & Order: SVU. He also appeared in the film King Cobra and in Netflix’s The OA as Miles Brekov.
In theatre, he began touring as Curly in the national production of Oklahoma!, starting November 6, 2021.
His music career began with a My Chemical Romance cover band called Rumored Alone. He released the single "New" on October 15, 2015, followed by "Why Is It so Hard to Change" in August 2016, an EP of the same title in September 2016, and the debut album Necessary Trouble in 2017.
