Inverell Times
The Inverell Times was a newspaper published in Inverell, New South Wales, Australia. It absorbed the Inverell Argus in 1925. Owned by Australian Community Media, it stopped printing in 2024 because revenue fell and costs rose. The paper’s website stays online with some local news and stories from The Northern Daily Leader. The Inverell Times began on 12 June 1875, founded by Thomas Harland and Colin Ross. Kate Bond ran the paper for eight years after her husband William Henry Bond died in 1895. In September 2024, Australian Community Media announced it would shutter the paper.
