Schit (Tazlău)
Schit is a short river in Bacău County, Romania. It rises on Mount Bâtca Rugilor in the Tarcău Mountains at about 878 meters above sea level and flows for 12 kilometers through the villages of Schitu Frumoasa and Balcani before it empties into the Tazlău in Balcani at about 347 meters above sea level. The river’s basin covers about 63 square kilometers. Water from Schit eventually reaches the Black Sea via the Tazlău, Trotuș, and Siret rivers. A right-side tributary of Schit is Coman.
