Schiedea lydgatei, commonly known as Kamalo Gulch schiedea or Pacific schiedea, is a rare flowering plant in the Caryophyllaceae family. It is endemic to Hawaii and is found only on the island of Molokai. It is federally listed as endangered in the United States, and NatureServe lists it as Critically Imperiled. The plant is a shrub up to about 1 meter tall. It is the only hermaphroditic species in its genus; its ancestors likely included plants with all-female flowers and others with both male and female organs. The flowers have green sepals and no petals and can have a sweet fragrance at times. Pyralid moths commonly visit the flowers, and wind pollination is also likely. It grows in moist forests and shrublands on Molokai. There are probably fewer than 10,000 individuals remaining. Threats include fire, feral pigs and goats, and invasive plant species.
