Scarlett Sabet
Scarlett Sabet (born 1989 or 1990) is an English poet and performer based in London. She has written four poetry books: Rocking Underground (2014), The Lock and The Key (2016), Zoreh (2018), and Camille (2019). In 2019 she released Catalyst, a spoken-word album produced by her partner, Jimmy Page of Led Zeppelin.
Sabet self-published her first collection, Rocking Underground, and launched it at the Chelsea Arts Club in London in 2014. She has performed at Shakespeare & Company in Paris for the launches of The Lock and The Key (2016) and Camille (2019). Zoreh was released in March 2018 with a reading at City Lights Bookstore in San Francisco. She also read at Belfast’s 25th Annual Aspects Literary Festival in September 2016 and for the BBC World Service programme Van Morrison and Me in January 2017.
Her poetry is influenced by William S. Burroughs, Patti Smith, Emily Dickinson, and Sylvia Plath. Sabet was born to an Iranian father and a mother of Scottish and French descent. She has been with Jimmy Page since 2014, and they live together in West London.
