Michael Carter (musician)
Michael Carter is an American country guitarist, songwriter, and record producer. Born in Sylvester, Georgia, he is based in Nashville, Tennessee, and has been active since 2007. Carter is best known for his work with Luke Bryan, where he serves as Bryan’s lead guitarist and bandleader. He has also collaborated with Cole Swindell and co-written songs for other artists, including Craig Campbell’s “Outta My Head,” Thomas Rhett’s “Get Me Some of That,” Luke Bryan’s “Roller Coaster,” and Swindell’s “Hope You Get Lonely Tonight.” He produced Swindell’s self-titled debut album. Carter plays guitar and piano.
