Chloe Watson (boxer)
Chloe Watson (born 13 January 2000) is an English professional boxer from Birkenhead, Merseyside. She fights in the flyweight and super-flyweight divisions, uses an orthodox stance, and boxes for Birkenhead Venture Boxing Club. Her pro record stands at 11 fights: 9 wins (1 by KO) and 2 losses.
As an amateur, she found early success in England, becoming the national schools champion in Class One before turning 14, and winning the England Boxing Youth national 51 kg title in March 2017. She also won gold in the 51 kg category at the Commonwealth Youth Games in the Bahamas in July 2017, becoming England’s first women’s boxing Commonwealth Youth Games medalist. In April 2019 she lost the elite under-51 kg national final to Tori-Ellis Willetts.
Watson turned professional in July 2021 with Wasserman Boxing, trained by Hall of Fame member Ricky Hatton. She made her pro debut on 25 November 2021 at York Hall, London, winning on points against Judit Hachbold. After six straight wins, she challenged for the vacant European female flyweight title and won by unanimous decision on 1 December 2023 in Bolton.
Her first defense came on 7 March 2025 on an all-female card at the Royal Albert Hall, where she lost by split decision to Jasmina Zapotoczna (one judge had Watson 97-93, while the other two had Zapotoczna 96-95).
She returned to the ring on 17 October 2025 at York Hall against Shannon Ryan for the vacant IBF female Intercontinental super-flyweight title and lost by unanimous technical decision after an eye injury from an accidental clash of heads, the bout being stopped after the fourth round.
Personal life: Watson has a twin brother named Curtis and is a supporter of Everton.
