The Salmon River is a river in Ontario, Canada. It begins near Kennebec Lake in Central Frontenac, Frontenac County, and flows about 75 kilometres (47 miles) south through a chain of small lakes and parts of Lennox and Addington County. The river empties into Lake Ontario at the Bay of Quinte, near Shannonville in Tyendinaga, Hastings County. The Salmon River is part of the Great Lakes Basin. Its watershed covers about 92,100 hectares (227,579 acres), with around 65,524 acres forested.
