Avengers: Endgame is the fourth Avengers movie and the 22nd film in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. It released on April 26, 2019, directed by Anthony and Joe Russo, with a large cast from previous MCU entries.

Worldwide, Endgame broke multiple records: it became the highest-grossing film of all time, posted the largest opening weekend, and was the fastest to reach $2.5 billion in global box office.

In the US and Canada, it set records for the biggest opening weekend, the largest single-day totals, and the fastest climb to $650 million, with the widest release to date.

In many other markets, Endgame became the highest-grossing film ever in several countries, including Chile and Thailand, and opened very strongly in more than 40 markets such as Australia, Brazil, China, Egypt, Mexico, and the United Kingdom. It also set IMAX records in about 50 markets across six continents.
