Saints & Sinners is the second studio album by the English girl group All Saints, released on 16 October 2000. It followed their successful debut and became the only All Saints album to reach number one in the United Kingdom. The record features production by William Orbit on three tracks, continuing the collaboration that helped shape their sound in the late 1990s. Other producers include Cameron McVey, Paul Simm, and K-Gee. Most songs were written by Shaznay Lewis and Karl Gordon, with Melanie Blatt contributing two tracks and Natalie Appleton co-writing Dreams.

Reception and legacy
- The album received mixed reviews. Critics praised the singles and the confident blend of pop with R&B and dance influences, but some thought it sounded too similar to other acts of the time (Spice Girls and Madonna’s Ray of Light).
- Notable reviews range from praise for the singles to more cautious takes from some outlets. AllMusic gave it 3/5 stars; BBC Music offered a positive note that Orbit’s influence would have helped the whole project.

Commercial performance
- Saints & Sinners did not match the commercial impact of All Saints’ debut, but it still performed well in several markets.
- It peaked at number 1 in the UK and stayed on the chart for 23 weeks.
- It charted in Europe, Ireland, Australia, and other countries, reaching top 20 in many places. It was certified 2× Platinum in the UK and Gold in Australia; Europe earned Platinum status (IFPI).

Singles
- Pure Shores: The lead single, released in 1999 (widest release in 2000), became a UK chart-topper and double-platinum hit. It was also tied to The Beach soundtrack.
- Black Coffee: Released in 2000, this dance/pop track also hit number 1 in the UK and charted in several other countries.
- All Hooked Up: Released in 2001, it reached No. 7 in the UK and other markets.

Track highlights
- The standard album contains 12 tracks, including Pure Shores, All Hooked Up, Dreams, Distance, Black Coffee, Surrender, I Feel You, Love Is Love, Ready, Willing and Able, Saints & Sinners, and the title track Saints & Sinners. UK and Australian editions feature bonus tracks and remixes.

Background
- In 1999, Shaznay Lewis went to the U.S. to work with William Orbit on what would become Saints & Sinners. The group also connected with film projects and planned a release timeline that eventually landed the album in 2000.

In brief, Saints & Sinners marked a bold, vocal-driven shift for All Saints with strong singles and a high UK chart peak, even as it divided critics and faced stiffer competition in the market compared to their debut.
