Market Harborough Rural District was a local government district in Leicestershire, England, from 1894 to 1974. It covered the countryside around Market Harborough, but not the town itself. In 1935 it grew when Hallaton Rural District was abolished. In 1974, under the Local Government Act 1972, it merged with Market Harborough urban district, Billesdon Rural District and Lutterworth Rural District to form the Harborough district.

The district included many civil parishes, such as Blaston, Foxton, Kibworth Beauchamp, Kibworth Harcourt, Laughton, Lubenham, Medbourne, Tur Langton, Welham, West Langton, and others. Market Harborough town itself was unparished after 1974.
