Safirul Sulaiman
Safirul bin Sulaiman (born 12 October 1992) is a Singaporean footballer who plays as a left midfielder. He is 1.73 meters tall and was born in Singapore. He has played for several clubs, including Young Lions, LionsXII, Geylang International, Tampines Rovers, and South Avenue SC. He began his professional career with Young Lions in 2010, then joined LionsXII for 2012–2013 and helped them win the Malaysia Super League in 2013, wearing number 11. He returned to Young Lions in 2014, moved to Geylang International in 2016, joined Tampines Rovers in 2017, and had a loan spell at Geylang in 2020. In 2022 he joined South Avenue SC.
Internationally, Safirul has represented Singapore at the U22 level (2012–2014, 4 appearances) and the senior national team (since 2012, 8 appearances). He made his international debut and first start in a friendly against Hong Kong on 1 June 2012. He graduated from the Singapore Sports School in 2009.
