Sady nad Torysou is a small village and municipality in eastern Slovakia, in the Košice-okolie District of the Košice Region. The municipality was created in 1964 and is made up of two villages, Byster and Zdoba. Both places have older history: Byster was first mentioned in 1332 and Zdoba in 1337, and they were linked to the Benedictine abbey at Krásna pri Hornádom. In 1337, German settlers arrived in Byster.

The village sits at an elevation of 204 meters and covers an area of 8.45 square kilometers. As of 2024, about 1,925 people live there.

In 2021, the population was 1,964. Most residents are Slovak, with small numbers of Hungarians, Roma, Rusyns and other groups. Regarding religion, the largest groups were Roman Catholics and Greek Catholics, with some residents having no church affiliation or belonging to other faiths.
