Rubiá is a municipality in the province of Ourense, Galicia, Spain. It belongs to the Valdeorras comarca. The area is about 101 square kilometers and the town sits at roughly 512 meters above sea level. As of January 1, 2025, around 1,391 people live in Rubiá, giving a population density of about 13.8 inhabitants per square kilometer. The mayor is Elías Rodríguez Núñez (PP). The municipality uses Central European Time (UTC+1) and observes daylight saving time in summer (UTC+2).
