Roy B. Davis (November 22, 1887 – October 18, 1960) was a farmer and Democratic politician from Virginia. He served in the Virginia House of Delegates, representing Halifax County, from 1932 until his retirement in 1957. Born in Paces, Virginia, he was educated in local public and private schools and joined the Halifax County Democratic Committee in 1931. Davis was part of the Byrd Organization and held several key roles, including chairman of the privileges and elections committee and leader of the 1951–1952 redistricting effort. In 1955 he co-chaired hearings on school segregation. Outside politics, he farmed tobacco with his son Roy Jr., led the Virginia Farm Bureau Federation, and served on the Hargrave Military Academy board. He helped groom his successor, Howard P. Anderson, for the legislature. Davis was also an active deacon at Mt. Zion Baptist Church. He died of a heart attack at his home in Paces and was buried in Halifax Memorial Gardens. He was survived by his wife Blanche Crews Tune and their three children.
