Ron Wood (footballer, born 1925)
William Ronald Wood (11 November 1925 – 2012) was an English professional footballer who played as an inside forward. Born in Manchester, he played for Droylsden (1949–1950) and then for Wrexham in the English Football League, making 16 appearances and scoring 5 goals during 1949–1950. He died in 2012.
