Michael Donoghue
Michael Donoghue is an American evolutionary biologist and the Sterling Professor of Ecology and Evolutionary Biology at Yale University. He is also an author. He earned a bachelor's degree in Botany and Plant Pathology from Michigan State University in 1979 and a Ph.D. from Harvard University in 1984.
His career includes positions at San Diego State University (1982–1985), the University of Arizona (1985–1992), Harvard University (1992–2000), and Yale University (since 2000). He was the Glaser Distinguished Visiting Professor at Florida International University.
Donoghue is a fellow of the American Association for the Advancement of Science and the American Academy of Arts and Sciences, and he has served as president of the Botanical Society of America.
