Romano Sgheiz (born 28 June 1937) is an Italian rower and Olympic champion. He was born in Colico, Lecco, Italy, and his brother is Luciano Sgheiz (born 1941).

In his rowing career, Sgheiz won several medals:
- 1956 European Championships: bronze in the coxed four
- 1956 Olympics (Melbourne): gold in the coxed four (with Alberto Winkler, Angelo Vanzin, Franco Trincavelli, and Ivo Stefanoni)
- 1957 European Championships: gold in the eight
- 1958 European Championships: gold in the eight
- 1960 Olympics (Rome): bronze in the coxed four
- 1961 European Championships: gold in the eight
- 1963 European Championships: silver in the coxless four
- 1964 European Championships: bronze in the coxless four
- 1964 Olympics: fifth in the coxless four

Sgheiz retired after the 1964 Olympics but returned for the 1968 Summer Olympics, finishing fourth in the coxless four.
