1931 Mississippi State Teachers Yellow Jackets football

The 1931 Mississippi State Teachers Yellow Jackets football team represented Mississippi State Teachers College (now the University of Southern Mississippi) in the Southern Intercollegiate Athletic Association during the 1931 college football season. In Pooley Hubert’s first year as head coach, the team finished with a 2–5 overall record, including 2–4 in conference play. Home games were played at State Teachers Field.
