The Roland JD-Xi is a compact hybrid synthesizer released in 2015. It blends a 1-voice analog engine with a 128-voice digital engine (Roland’s Supernatural) to give you warm analog tones alongside modern digital sounds. It offers four independent parts: 1 analog part, 2 digital synth parts, and 1 drum part, which can be used together or separately. A built-in vocoder with a gooseneck microphone is included, and a white limited edition was released in 2015. The launch price was about $599.
