Rishabhapriya is a ragam in Carnatic music, the classical music of South India. It is the 62nd melakarta ragam in the 72-melakarta system. It is the prati madhyamam (sharp fourth) version of Charukesi, the 26th melakarta. In the Dikshitar tradition, it is called Ratipriya. It is the 2nd ragam in the 11th chakra, Rudra; its mnemonic name is Rudra-Sri, and the mnemonic phrase is sa ri gu mi pa dha ni.

Arohana and avarohana:
Arohana: S R2 G3 M2 P D1 N2 S
Avarohana: S N2 D1 P M2 G3 R2 S

Notes used: chathusruthi rishabham (R2), antara gandharam (G3), prati madhyamam (M2), shuddha dhaivatham (D1), and kaisiki nishadham (N2). As a melakarta ragam, it is sampoorna, meaning it has all seven notes in both ascent and descent.

There are janya ragams (derived scales) associated with Rishabhapriya.

A few compositions are set to Rishabhapriya. Graha bhedam (shifting the tonic) from Pa yields Kokilapriya. Rishabhapriya and Kokilapriya are the only melakarta ragams to contain a whole-tone scale. GOPRIYA is a janya ragam created by omitting Pa in both the ascent and descent (S R2 G3 M2 D1 N2 S — S N2 D1 M2 G3 R2 S); performing graha bhedam on it yields the same raga repeatedly.

In western classical terms, this is described as a Whole Tone Scale.
