Reza Talaei-Nik
Reza Talaei-Nik is an Iranian military officer and conservative politician. He is a Brigadier General in the Islamic Revolutionary Guards Corps and fought in the Iran-Iraq War, with military service beginning in 1980. He served as a member of the Iranian Parliament from 2000 to 2008, representing Bahar and Kabudarahang, and was part of the National Security and Foreign Policy Commission. He currently serves as a deputy to the defence minister. Talaei-Nik was the secretary-general of the Development and Justice Party, a conservative party closely allied with Mohsen Rezaee. He studied at the University of Command and Staff and the National Defense University.
