2022–23 UCF Knights women's basketball
The UCF Knights represented the University of Central Florida in the 2022–23 NCAA Division I season. They played in the American Athletic Conference (The American) and finished with a 14–15 overall record, 4–11 in conference play. Sytia Messer was the head coach in her first season, with assistant coaches Tennille Adams, Greg Brown, and Michelle Edwards. Home games were played at Addition Financial Arena in Orlando, Florida. This season was UCF’s last in the American Athletic Conference before moving to the Big 12.
In the prior 2021–22 season, the Knights went 22–3 overall and 14–1 in The American, won the conference regular-season and tournament titles, and earned an NCAA tournament bid, where they beat Florida in the first round before falling to UConn in the second round.
