Revelation TV is a UK Protestant Christian Zionist TV channel started in 2003 by Howard and Lesley Conder, who funded it with their own money. It is available on Freesat (channel 692), Freeview HD (channel 264), Sky (channel 581), Roku, and online on iOS, Android, Apple TV and smart TVs. The channel is based in Spain, with a small studio in England.

The Conders built a close relationship with viewers and even know many of their most dedicated supporters by name. Between 2004 and 2014, Ofcom censured the channel five times for issues including homophobic comments and graphic depictions of abortion before a children’s program. In 2007, after some regulatory restrictions were lifted, Revelation TV was allowed to ask for funds on air.

In February 2010, American evangelist Justin Peters was interviewed live. He criticized leaders in the Word of Faith movement, naming several well-known figures. The interview was cut short because of concerns about fairness rules. In December 2011, evangelist Jacob Prasch announced he had left Revelation TV after the channel began airing a weekly Jesse Duplantis show. Other departures followed, and Prophetic Witness Movement International pulled out.

The channel moved to Spain in 2010, and by 2012 it had a permanent TV studio base there, including an underground car park space converted into a studio. In 2014 the Charity Commission opened an inquiry into Revelation TV amid concerns about trustees’ benefits, conflicts of interest and possible loss of charity funds. In 2015 the commission announced there was no loss or misappropriation of funds. The inquiry was closed in 2020, finding governance failings but no evidence of misappropriation.

From around 2015, fundraising began to build a new purpose-built studio complex in Spain, since the existing space was too small. By March 2019 land had been bought and construction of the new complex was nearing completion, with plans for three studios, including a dedicated music studio. The full completion was expected by late 2019 or early 2020. In November 2019, Nigel Farage was interviewed on Revelation TV about globalists and a “new world order.”

Genesis TV, a separate channel that shared much of Revelation TV’s content, was formerly on Sky channel 592. It merged with Revelation TV on 1 April 2010, and Revelation TV later moved to Sky channel 581 after GOD TV gave up its slot. In March 2010, Genesis TV allowed a debate between Nick Griffin of the British National Party and George Hargreaves of the Christian Party for the Barking by-election. A prank on Genesis TV in February 2010 went viral on YouTube, and the channel faced various on-air incidents before the merger.
