Rena Lara is a small, unincorporated community and census-designated place in southwestern Coahoma County, Mississippi, along Mississippi Highway 1. It sits on the former Riverside Division of the Yazoo and Mississippi Valley Railroad. The area covers about 2.29 square miles, all land, at an elevation of about 154 feet. As of the 2020 census, Rena Lara had 123 residents. The local post office serves ZIP code 38767 and has been in operation since 1895.

Historically, Rena Lara had two general stores, two grocery stores, and the Richardson and May Land & Planting Company. Pepper Sharpe, a Negro league pitcher, was born in Rena Lara. Rena Lara was first listed as a census-designated place in 2020.
