Piraí do Sul is a town in Paraná, in southern Brazil. Its economy is built on wood production, farming, and related industries, with about 177 companies operating there. The main crops are corn, soybeans, and wheat. In 2020, the population was about 25,600 people. The town also has tourism, especially religious tourism, because of the Shrine of Our Lady of the Sprout, making it a popular destination for pilgrims. Piraí do Sul became a municipality on July 24, 1882. The climate is oceanic (Cfb): summers around 26°C and winters around 19°C, with frosts possible in winter.
