The Red Line of Patna Metro, also called the East–West Corridor, is under construction in Patna. It runs about 16.86 km from Danapur Cantonment to Khemnichak, with 14 stations. About 9.36 km are elevated and 7.5 km are underground, with some sections at street level. The line uses two tracks on standard gauge and is electrified with 25 kV 50 Hz overhead lines. It is operated by Patna Metro Rail Corporation Limited and uses Titagarh Firema trains. Key stations include Danapur Cantonment, Saguna Mor, Patliputra, Raja Bazar, Patna Zoo, Patna Junction, and Khemnichak.
