ReVamp is the self-titled debut album by Dutch progressive/symphonic metal band ReVamp. It was released in May 2010 (Sweden and Finland on May 26, rest of Europe on May 28, and the United States on July 27). The album runs 55 minutes and 44 seconds and was issued by Nuclear Blast. It was recorded in Dutch studios during 2009–2010 and produced by Joost van den Broek, Arno Krabman, and Floor Jansen.

The project follows Floor Jansen’s departure from the now-disbanded After Forever. After Forever’s hiatus began in 2008 and ended with their breakup in 2009, and Jansen moved on to create a new band. The name ReVamp was announced in October 2009, with keyboardist Joost van den Broek and guitarist Waldemar Sorychta helping with songwriting and production. Nuclear Blast signed the band in February 2010.

Musically, ReVamp blends heavier, bombastic metal with orchestral and symphonic textures. Jansen’s operatic voice remains a defining element, though she stated that opera is less prominent than in After Forever. Critics generally gave positive notices, praising Jansen’s vocals and the band’s ability to fuse goth/symphonic influences with modern metal. Some reviews noted the album could be tighter or that it occasionally lacks a bit of punch.

All music was written by Floor Jansen, Joost van den Broek, and Waldemar Sorychta, with lyrics by Jansen. The album preceded ReVamp’s next release, Wild Card, in 2013.
