R. S. Karthiik is an Indian actor from Chennai, Tamil Nadu, who has worked in Tamil cinema since 2016. He began with a small role in Achcham Yenbadhu Madamaiyada (2016) and then had a supporting part in Maanagaram (2017). His first lead role came with Peechankai (2017), which he also co-produced. Peechankai is a black comedy about a man with alien hand syndrome. It received positive reviews but had limited box-office impact in Chennai, yet it drew attention from new filmmakers and led to several offers. Between 2018 and 2019 he worked on two films that did not get a theatrical release: one about illegal racing with Sachin Mani and another about koothu with Manishajith. He later appeared in the political satire Yennanga Sir Unga Sattam (2021), playing two different roles; the film received mixed reviews. In 2022 he starred in Parole, a crime thriller directed by Dwarakh Raja.
