Purbi Joshi (born 19 August 1974 in Bombay, Maharashtra) is an Indian television actress, voice actress, and host. She comes from a family of actors; her parents are Pravin Joshi and Sarita Joshi, and her sister is Ketki Dave. She started as a model in TV commercials for Happy Dent, Nirma Washing Powder, and Thompson Television. Her first break on TV came in 1995 with Faasle. She then played a lead role, including a twin-sisters double, in the Doordarshan series Dishayein. In 2008 she won Mr. & Miss TV and was named Miss TV. Purbi is best known for hosting Comedy Circus, where she appeared in several seasons. She acted in MTV’s spoof film Ghoom and in the movie Dasvidaniya (2008). She starred as the lead in the 2011 film Damadamm! and lent her voice to the song "Umrao Jaan" in the same film. She married Valentino Fehlmann on 6 December 2014.
