Prince Edward, Hong Kong
Prince Edward is an area in Mong Kok, Kowloon, Hong Kong, around Prince Edward Station. It lies just south of Tong Mi and along the northern end of Nathan Road. The area is named after Prince Edward Road West and the MTR station is an interchange for the Tsuen Wan and Kwun Tong lines. Administratively, Prince Edward is in the Yau Tsim Mong District and used to be part of Mong Kok District before the mid-1990s.
Key places include Mong Kok Police Station on Prince Edward Road West near Prince Edward Station exit B1, and Mong Kok Stadium, which holds 6,769 spectators and is run by the Leisure and Cultural Services Department. The stadium hosts Hong Kong Premier League matches and is home to teams such as Southern and Kitchee on a shared basis.
For transport, access to Mong Kok East Station is available via the MOKO shopping centre on Prince Edward Road West. Although often considered part of Mong Kok, some markets closest to Prince Edward Station are nearer to the Prince Edward area.
