Preis der Winterkönigin is a Group 3 flat horse race in Germany for two-year-old fillies. It takes place at Baden-Baden Racecourse (Iffezheim) in October, over 1,600 metres on turf, on a left-handed track. The race was established in 1959 at Mülheim as the fillies’ counterpart to the Preis des Winterfavoriten in Cologne. It began at 1,400 metres and was extended to 1,600 metres in 1973. It was at times a Listed race before being upgraded to Group 3 status in 2001. The event moved to Baden-Baden in 2004. Prize money was €105,000 in 2021, with €60,000 going to the winner. The competition has seen notable success by leading jockeys (5 wins) and a leading trainer (10 wins).
