Popplepsalta corymbiae, the western red-eyed squeaker, is a cicada found in Australia. It belongs to the Cicadidae family, subfamily Cicadettinae, tribe Cicadettini. The species was described in 2013 by Australian entomologist Lindsay Popple. It measures about 15–18 mm in forewing length. It occurs across central Australia, from Minilya in Western Australia, east through the Northern Territory to the Cloncurry area in western Queensland. It lives in arid-zone open eucalypt woodland. Adult males can be heard from October to January, perched on eucalypts such as desert bloodwoods and ghost gums, producing calls that are rapid, alternating long and short chirps. It also has the synonym Pauropsalta corymbiae.
